My name is Lesley Swartz and I live in Roanoke, Virginia with my husband of 17 years and our nine-year-old daughter, Taylor. I am in my last two courses of my Masters of Education- School counseling and will begin my internship in January. My career experience is career and employment counseling with the state of Virginia. After severe budget cuts within the state, I was laid off from my job of 15 years and decided to return to school a year and a half ago. I have loved every minute of this program at Liberty, but I am ready to apply what I have learned and begin working again.
